Attorney Bors is one of the very few private attorneys in Orange County who represents tenants only. He can provide legal advice and assistance regarding leases and rental agreements, habitability, harassment, privacy issues, subletting, room-mate problems, security deposits, personal property, et cetera, and -- of course -- unlawful detainers (evictions).

Please realize that eviction is an expedited proceeding, which in many ways favors the landlord. If you have received a Three-Day Notice, a Thirty-Day Notice, and/or an Unlawful Detainer Complaint, time is of the essence. Contact an attorney immediately. Otherwise, prepare to move out, because once you miss certain deadlines -- no matter how good your reason -- there is very little that anyone, including your attorney, can do to help you.

Attorney Bors offers an office consultation for tenants of up to one hour for just $145 (payable in cash only), which is less than half his normal rate. During this consultation Mr. Bors will listen to the facts of your situation, review your documents, advise you of your rights, and explain your options.

If you are being evicted, Mr. Bors will help you to prepare your "in pro per" Unlawful Detainer Answer, and explain how to serve and file it, for an additional fee.  Mr. Bors also offers "full service" eviction defense representation for a flat fee, plus the actual cost of filing for each answering defendant, for residential tenants. (Flat fee for commercial tenants may be slightly more depending upon specific circumstances; please inquire.)
